This is a good basic to make a variety of soups. I have added salmon or halibut to make a nice fish chowder. I''ve also used clams or scallops. It''s a staple in my cupboard.

The Creamy Potato soup has to be the best ever. We like it because it is so low in sodium - and it is hard to find good stuff with no salt! I like it because it is not cheesy! It is easier to add ingredients than it is to remove them. Great soup!!
