Made this soup for the first time today. Very pleased with it. I added one and 1/2 lbs cooked cubed beef sirloin to the boiling water and soup mix. After that simmered a while, I added 3/4 cup sliced mushrooms, 3 large sliced carrots, and 4 large-diced stalks of celery. I let it continue on a low simmer. The result is delicious! I packed the soup in six 12-ounce containers. Three went into the frig and three for the freezer. Many thanks!

This is a wonderfully flavorful soup! I added frozen meatballs at the beginning of the cooking, as well as onion, celery, and carrots. My hubby raved about it. So easy too!

It''s 10 degrees outside and this soup was the perfect, warming comfort food! I added twice the amount of stew meat called for and made it more of a stew than a soup. Fantastic - I''ll order it again.

Excellent on a cold or rainy night!
This is great anytime, but on a cold, damp night it is especially good. Filling and warms the soul.
